The first thing you notice about the Slim Armor is that it’s a dual-layer case that is extremely easy to slip on the Galaxy S6. It does add some bulk and width, to be exact. The dimensions of the _phone_ with the Spigen Slim Armor on it are 5.86” x 2.99” x 0.43”. Compare this with 5.65 x 2.78 x 0.27 inches (143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8 mm) for the bare S6 and you see the case adds some 60% in terms of thickness and adds 0.21” of width.
You have several color options including white, mint, gold, gunmetal (grey), blue. We’ve got the mint one, and the color is a bit too neon-like to our liking, so we’d rather go with the more mundane color versions.
So what is the Spigen Slim Armor for the Samsung Galaxy S6 made of: inside, you have a very soft and flexible, rubbery thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for the interior, and it does a great job for impact protection. On top of it, there is a hard colorful plastic shell, and topping it all is a kickstand that works only for landscape mode, but is still very much appreciated. Everything is built well, the _phone_ snugs nicely, and you feel that the device is well protected.

Buttons are covered by the TPU, but they are very clicky and comfortable to press, which is a plus. The case sides are elevated above the surface of the display, so the chance of scratching the display are minimized, and the camera is also protected from scratches when you place the phone on its back.
All in all, we’re quite happy with the Spigen Slim Armor. We’re not huge fans of the color, and it is not a small case, but the comfort of having a fairly well-protected device and a kickstand seem to justify its $30 price.
